Trinidad 7Pot Primo Yellow Chilli Seeds
Trinidad 7Pot Primo Yellow Chilli Seeds. The Trinidad 7Pot Primo Yellow (C. Chinense) has to be one of those absolute gems in the superhot category. Named after the creator of this variety Troy Primeaux - nicknamed Primo. These seeds came to us as Trinidad 7Pot Primo Orange seeds, but we do feel that yellow is a better description of this variety as they only turn orange once over ripened. These pods will still be yellow when ready to pick and eat. This variety is a strong grower, producing large chinense style plant growth. This variety produces a large plant that easily will reach 110 cm give or take. A large strong plant with large leaves and a massive producer of pods. Pods are large and as wicked as you will ever find. Primo pods are characterised by the tails that they produce - some of the tails can be very long and pronounced. Lumpy bumpy pods that spell out what lies inside. We had to support our plants due to the sheer weight of the pods on the plant. Pods ripen from green to a magnificent yellow colour. Pods ripen from green to yellow and ultimately will turn orange if left to ripen fully and if dehydrated to make powder. Lots of placenta and capsaicin in these pods. An amazing fruity, sweet, floral aroma - with a citrus, fruity flavour. The heat on these is pretty instant. A very painful and intense burn from these. The heat is untested but way up high in our estimation. This has to be one of those MUST GROW kind of chillies in our book. A totally spectacular suporthot variety that is very versatile in the kitchen too.
