So what goes into every 25g jar of Chillihead’s Premium Chipotle?

The finest locally sourced fresh jalapeños.

Jalapeños are hand washed and checked for quality before drying.

All our chillies are naturally dried under the African sun for several days. Once optimally dry, pods are taken to be smoked.

The Jalapeños are cold smoked for three days with our secret blend of wood chips for a deep, intense smokey aroma and flavour. This is not a quick affair.

Once smoked, all pods are processed to remove seeds and stalks. This means your powder contains only the smoked flesh of the Jalapeños.

The pods are then taken for grinding. Our pods are triple ground, ensuring you get the perfect texture for your Chipotle.

The powders are sealed in glass jars to ensure optimal freshness.

Many hours of dedicated labour have gone into making this bespoke product.

Every 25g jar is made from 360g of fresh Jalapeños. All hand processed, naturally dried and Smoked for several days.
