Cherry Bomb
Cherry Bomb Chilli Seeds (Capsicum Annuum). The Cherry Bomb is ideally suited to those chilli enthusiasts that appreciate the milder cultivars. The Cherry Bomb is ever popular among growers as it offer super sweet flavours, fleshy pods and something more approachable. The Cherry Bomb is one of the sweeter and fruitier chillies you can grow. Heat wise, they range around the 5,000 SHU mark, which puts them in the same range as Jalapeños.
Fast growers and more tolerant of slightly cooler weather, this cultivar germinates and grows with ease. Rapid growth produces very vertical and tall plants that produce spherically, smooth shaped pods that are gold ball shaped. (this cultivar would benefit from topping early season) These pods first start out green and eventually turn bright red when fully ripened. These pods are thick skinned and crunchy. Great producers for seed stock as these pods are filled with seeds in the centre. Most growers will hollow out these gems and fill them with cream cheese. They are also super for making a mild, sweet chilli sauce and are very often pickled in jars.
A really awesome chilli to grow that is full of flavour and has many applications in the kitchen.
